Privacy Policy for Mecca Subway Map

HEDONISM publishes Mecca Subway Map (com.maps.mecca), an iOS app for public transport and visitor planning in Mecca. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Location and maps
The app does not require an account. With your permission, location is used to display your position and find nearby stations. We do not store your precise location on HEDONISM servers. Apple MapKit provides online maps and may process map requests, location and device information under Apple’s privacy policy. You can deny or revoke location permission in iOS Settings.
Advertising and consent
The app includes Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google User Messaging Platform. When advertising is enabled, Google may process IP addresses, device identifiers where permitted, ad interactions, diagnostics, crash logs and performance information for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention and service operation. Consent and Apple App Tracking Transparency choices govern access to tracking identifiers where required. Declining tracking does not necessarily remove all ads. Regional privacy choices can be managed through the app’s Privacy Choices controls when available and iOS Settings.

HEDONISM advertising services
The app requests advertising configuration from hedonism.cloud. It may report advertising events to our server, including the event type, placement, advertising source, app name and bundle identifier, event time, ad or unit identifiers, and limited error or event metadata. These reports help operate advertising and diagnose failures. Network requests expose an IP address and ordinary request information to the receiving server. The app’s event payload does not include your saved notes or precise location.
Data stored on your device
Language, display and route preferences, saved notes, consent choices and cached travel information may be stored locally. You can remove local app data by deleting the app, subject to iOS backup behavior.
Online travel tools and external services
Online maps, weather, exchange rates and travel information require requests to their providers. Providers receive the request parameters and ordinary network information necessary to respond. The app includes links for tours, tickets, accommodation, flights, car rental, eSIMs, insurance, airport information, tax refunds and official transport resources. Depending on the feature you choose, services may include Apple, Google, Viator, Yesim, Expedia, DiscoverCars, SafetyWing, EKTA, Patreon, Open-Meteo, Frankfurter and official local resources. When you open an external website or make a booking, that provider handles your information under its own privacy policy. Some links are affiliate links and may earn HEDONISM a commission.
Sharing and retention
Information is processed by the providers needed for the services described above. We do not directly sell your personal information. Local data remains on your device until removed. Server and provider data is handled for service operation, diagnostics and applicable legal obligations; provider retention follows their policies.
Your choices and children
You may use transport information without granting location permission. You can manage location and tracking permissions in iOS Settings and applicable advertising consent in the app. The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
