Privacy Policy Malta Guide

HEDONISM built the Malta Guide app as a Free app. This SERVICE is provided by HEDONISM at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page informs visitors about the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information when using our Service. Information is used to provide and improve the Service and is shared only as described in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

No account is required. Your saved places, travel plans, notes, and preferences are stored on your device. We do not operate an account server that receives these records. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include in your message and use it to respond.

The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device. Online maps and external links may transmit your IP address and the information needed to load the requested content.

The app uses Google AdMob to display advertisements and Google’s User Messaging Platform to manage advertising privacy choices. Google may collect IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), device identifiers, advertising interactions, app usage, and diagnostic information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Collection and use depend on your consent choices, device settings, and applicable requirements. The app requests Apple’s tracking permission before access to the advertising identifier when required. You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings and revisit advertising privacy choices in the app where available.

Third-party privacy policies: Google / AdMob and Apple Maps.

Viator and GetYourGuide travel offers are displayed in embedded web views. Providers may receive your IP address, device and browser information, content requests, and interactions, and may use session cookies or similar identifiers. These views use a non-persistent web data store. External bookings and payments are handled by the provider. Please review the Viator Privacy Policy and GetYourGuide Privacy Policy.

Log Data

Third-party services may process technical and diagnostic data when content loads or an error occurs. This may include your IP address, device model, operating system version, request times, crash information, and performance statistics. These providers handle such data according to their own privacy policies. We do not require you to send diagnostic reports; any report you send to support is voluntary.

Cookies

Cookies are small files or identifiers used by websites and third-party services. The app stores local preferences and advertising providers may use identifiers or similar technologies. External websites may also use cookies. You can manage available privacy choices in the app, your device settings, or the provider’s website. Restricting these technologies may affect some online features.

Service Providers

We use third-party services to provide maps, advertising and advertising privacy controls, support the Service, and improve its reliability. Providers receive the information necessary for their services and process it under their own policies. We do not sell your locally saved travel plans or notes.

Security

We value your trust and use reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Protect your device and avoid sending sensitive personal information in support messages.

Links to Other Sites

The Service may contain links to external websites. These sites are operated by third parties. Please review their privacy policies before using them or providing personal information. We do not control their content or privacy practices.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our support service. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can address the request and delete information we hold where appropriate.

Your Choices

You can remove saved content using the app’s available controls or remove the app to delete its local data. You can manage advertising consent where offered and tracking permission in iOS Settings. For information you sent to support, contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. Third-party information requests should be sent to the provider responsible for that information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Please review this page periodically.
